Nick Notte, President: As President of Sterling Autobody, Nick is responsible for overseeing Sterling’s network of more than 60 stores nation-wide. Notte brings over 25 years experience of product knowledge and leadership to his new role. He previously served as director of auto process mastery/development at Allstate before holding various management positions in the company’s claims department and Priority Repair Option (PRO) program. A respected authority in the collision repair industry, Notte has served as Chairman of the Board for the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR), as Secretary and Treasurer for the Certified Auto Parts Association (CAPA), as a board member for the Collision Technician Apprentice Program (CTAP), as a sub-committee member for the National Association of Independent Insurers (NAII), on the auto physical damage sub-committee for the Insurance Services Organization (ISO), and he currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Auto Body Council (NABC). Nick is a graduate of Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts and holds a BS degree in Accounting.
John Donohue, Vice President, Information Technology: John has a long history of software development, strategic planning and resource allocation for rapidly growing organizations. He began his career at the John Hancock Insurance Company as a programmer and project manager. At Dunkin' Donuts he held positions as Manager of Systems and Programming and Corporate Planning Manager. Before coming to Sterling, he served as a Senior Information Technology Manager at Digital Equipment Corporation. John is a graduate of Holy Cross College and received an MBA from Boston University.
Tony Giannola, Vice President, Finance and Procurement: Tony began his career with Allstate Insurance Company in 1982 and held various financial analyst positions in the company’s home office and field locations. His progressive leadership assignments include Controller of Allstate’s Commercial Insurance Division, Controller of Deerbrook Insurance Company, and Director of Finance & Planning for Encompass Insurance Company. Tony joined Sterling Autobody in 2005. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Tony holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Illinois - Chicago and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Illinois - Champaign.
Mike Nuxoll, Vice President, Human Resources and Training: As Vice President of Human Resources, Mike is responsible for talent acquisition, employee training and development, and overall leadership of Sterling’s Human Resources policies and procedures. Mike has served the auto insurance industry for over 20 years. He began his career with Allstate Insurance Company as a Claim Adjuster, and was later promoted to Sr. Market Claim Manager of the Chicagoland area. Mike also has an extensive background in Human Resources, working as an HR Division Manager in Seattle and HR Staff Manager for the Allstate National Recruiting Team. His commitment to attracting, developing and retaining key human talent provides a strong foundation for Sterling Autobody’s Human Resources efforts. Mike is a graduate of University of Washington with a BS in Economics.
Bob Benjamin, Vice President of Operations: Bob brings a wealth of leadership experience to his position. Prior to joining Sterling Autobody in 2001, Bob managed manufacturing operations for Tyco International, Biersdorf International and the Ensign-Bickford Company. As a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army, he completed his most recent tour of duty in 2006. Bob is a graduate of Western Illinois University. He also holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University and is currently enrolled in the US Army’s War College Distance Education program where he is competing for an advanced degree in Strategic Leadership. Bob has also earned his I-CAR Platinum Certification.
Tim Swift, Vice President of Operations: Tim joined Sterling Autobody in 2000 and served as Regional Director for South Texas and the Midwest markets. In 2006, Tim assumed leadership of Sterling’s process mastery and construction functions. With over 20 years of leadership and training experience, Tim has specialized training in Six Sigma Black Belt, is a Certified Trainer in Continuous Process Improvement and holds a Certificate of Training in Lean Manufacturing Concepts and Implementation. Tim is a U.S. Air Force Veteran and prior to joining Sterling Autobody, worked with Goodrich Aerospace in a variety of positions including Sales Manager for Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East and South America, Business Manager for the Miami Service Center, and Director of Operations – Castleberry Instruments and Avionics. Tim holds a BS in Management from the University of Maryland and an Associate’s Degree in Electronics.
Sharon Mazanec, Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Real Estate: Sharon brings to Sterling over 20 years experience in the autobody repair industry. Her early career in estimating and appraising led to a position as Collision Repair Center Operations Manager overseeing 10 locations for Allen Samuels Enterprises. She progressed to a General Manager/ Dealer Principal position leading the Angelton, TX automobile dealership. Sharon joined Sterling in 2002 as Regional Director for North Texas and later California. From there she was promoted to lead the sales, marketing and communication, and real estate efforts of Sterling Autobody. Sharon chaired the Auto Collision & Management Advisory Committee for Texas State Technical College and is currently an Advisory Member. She has completed a number auto repair training programs including Son’s and Daughter’s Dealer Academy at Chrysler World Training Center in Troy, Mi. Sharon attended McLennan Community College and has earned the I-CAR Platinum designation.
Roger Wright, VP Strategic Design and Process Implementation: Roger brings decades of collision industry involvement and service to Sterling. He has served as National Damage Material Coordinator with Hanover Insurance; Assistant Vice President Claims, Integon/GMACI; Director of Insurance Relations, Collision Team of America; Senior Vice President CARSTAR; and Claims Vice President with AIG. He is a proven leader and holds a number of industry designations. Roger is Past Chairman, ICAR International Board of Directors, Former Chairman ISO-AISG Auto Physical Damage Committee, Past Chairman Collision Industry Conference (CIC), and was inducted into the Collision Industry Hall of Eagles in 1997.
